OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS

CHINA AUTO PARTS also referred to as C.A.P.

Ownership

  1. Ownership in and of any goods supplied by China Auto Parts will remain vested in China Auto Parts until such time that they have been paid for in full.

Returns

  1. Goods correctly supplied as per order instruction either verbally or written, constitute a confirmed order and a lawful delivery of the goods in question. All confirmed orders supplied will automatically incur a 20% handling charge if cancelled or returned from the customer.
  2. Goods returned for credit must be pre-authorized by C.A.P personnel and received by C.A.P returns department within a period of 10 working days (including Saturday) from the date of receipt.
  3. No returns, other than warranty items, will be accepted for credit after 10 working days from the date of receipts.
  4. Goods returned to C.A.P must be accompanied with the following documentation to be accepted by C.A.P returns department a) Customer’s return request form with C.A.P pre-authorization reference number b) The original or clear copy of the C.A.P Invoice c) Signed C.A.P returns pickup/counter note presented by C.A.P personnel.
  5. All returns are subject to inspection and acceptance by C.A.P.
  6. Goods returned for credit must be in a resalable condition. Packaging of items returned must be original and, in a condition, suitable for re-selling. C.A.P personnel are instructed to refuse acceptance of returned goods if such goods are not in a resalable state.
  7. All electrical parts, including but not limited to Starters, Alternators, Electric Fuel Pumps, Modules, Sensors and Switches are subjected to manufacturer’s warranty only. Special Order items are non-returnable. Once an item has been installed or used it is non-returnable for a refund and can only be exchanged under our warranty policy.
  8. Items that are used, fitted, or sprayed will not be accepted for return.
  9. Refunds and rebates in respect of any return made in terms of Clause 7 above will be limited to “merchandise credit only”. Handling charges will be deducted from any credit note requested by the customer to C.A.P.
  10. All promotional items are non-refundable.
  11. All claims for damages and short supply must be received and acknowledged by C.A.P within 3 days of receipt. No claim for damage and short supply will be accepted after 3 days. Clause 2 will be applicable to damaged returns. Damages on the goods must be clearly marked so they can be identified easily.
  12. C.A.P will not, under any circumstances, be responsible for any damages of whatsoever nature including consequential damages in respect of any item returned.
  13. Any provision contained in this return policy, which is or may become illegal, invalid, or unenforceable shall be ineffective to the extent of such prohibition or unenforceability and shall be treated as having not been written and separated from the balance of the terms and conditions herein contained. This is without invalidating the remaining provisions of this return policy or affecting the validity or enforceability of any of the provisions hereof.
  14. No agreement varying, adding to, deleting from, or cancelling any of the terms contained in this return policy and no waiver of any right contained herein, shall be effective unless reduced to writing and signed by C.A.P.
  15. The terms and conditions contained in this return policy contain all the express provisions agreed to by the parties hereto regarding the subject matter of the content thereof.

Transport

  1. Subject to stock availability with suppliers and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 3 days and handed over to a courier company for delivery. Economy Transport takes 3-5 working days to major Metropolitan areas (Durban, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth, and Bloemfontein) and 5-7 working days for outlying areas beyond 100km of these areas.
  2. It is compulsory to select insurance on your package as China Auto Parts holds no responsibility for theft or damage while in the Couriers care.
  3. Cancelled orders on the e-commerce facility will be refunded after the deduction of a 20% charge for administration costs. China Auto Parts reserves the right to cancel an order for which payment has already been received. This may occur if stock is insufficient, or the quality of goods ordered does not meet our standards. Should the provider exercise this right, the User will receive a full refund with no deductions within 10 days of order.
  4. Terms of free delivery – all orders to the value of R5000.00 or more, will be delivered free of charge.

  1. All Payments are processed by the Payfast portal, please visit www.payfast.co.za to review their security policy.
